Merrie Beth Day is a marriage speaker at Rio Vista Community Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She learned, first hand, about the powerful influence women have in their homes – power to build it up or tear it down.  She believes in the power of one to change two.  She believes that successful marriages are not about picking the right person but about BE-ing  the right person.  Above all, she feels that the marriage relationship’s health is directly related to one or both spouse’s spiritual health and that marriage was meant to make us holy first, with happiness as a natural side-benefit of that.

She has been married to her husband, Courtney for over 20 years and they have a teenage daughter and son.
